About the design
It opens on a start button: each photo arrives full-bleed, oversized and tilted, settles for a beat under a slate counting the frame, then the camera pushes through it into the next. The last one holds and becomes the cover, under names set in Playfair Display over Jost. The page is cinema black, corners cut to 2px, the accent gold, silver or burgundy. Date and countdown are typewritten, the schedule breaks into numbered scenes, the gallery packs tight like a contact sheet with a frame number under every cell, and guests reply on a cream ticket.
Which events it suits
At an anniversary a whole year of photographs says more than any paragraph, and at a wedding the shoot already has the wide frames. For a baptism, or the two celebrated together, Lumière keeps a separate gallery per event type, so the screening opens straight away with pictures in the right register, not with another couple's.
