Golden Tassel
About the design
On champagne paper the invitation opens like a fabric blind: the gold tassel is pulled, the blind rolls up and your photo drops onto a nail in its frame, swinging on two glitter wires. Then one gold thread unwinds down the page as you scroll, and everything hangs from it: the countdown as four medallions, cards held by clips, a garland of photos and the closing monogram with its own tassel. The names are Saira Condensed with a Pinyon Script ampersand, the text Cormorant Garamond. Blush, Powder blue and silver or Sage change the paper and the gold.

Which events it suits
It is drawn for a christening: the medallions, the garland and the tassel recall the mobile that sways over a cot, and the blush and powder-blue palettes suit it. At a wedding or a wedding with a christening the thread ties the family's story together, and at a birthday every guest who says yes gets a pendant with their initials.
