Night Greenhouse
About the design
On the almost black green of a greenhouse at night, the roof's arches are drawn in gold thread and a garland of bulbs hangs across the top. The portrait stands in an arched window under the greenhouse's muntins, and the age, large in Bodoni and cut from gold leaf, glows at its foot. As it opens, watercolour eucalyptus covers the screen with fireflies among the leaves; the branches part like two curtains and the greenhouse stays lit. “A night in the greenhouse” is in the thin Ms Madi hand, the name and the place in spaced Cormorant Garamond capitals.

Which events it suits
It is drawn for an evening coming of age, yet the age is the organizer's field: the same gold leaf says 18, 30 or 50 at a birthday. The album is a row of panes whose middle one lights up, every guest who says yes gets a greenhouse tag with their name, and the fireflies gather into the age at the end. Sunset lights the greenhouse; Burgundy darkens it.
