About the design
The page is dusty-pink paper with fibres, two palms painted in gouache in the top corners and strings of bulbs hung between them. The names are set in Forum's Roman capitals, the text in Cormorant Garamond, the handwritten captions in Caveat. As it opens the palms rise and unfold their fronds, the wires stretch and the bulbs light one by one with a flicker. The photos hang from wooden pegs, each moment lights its bulb, and two corners of hibiscus and plumeria grow at the end. Sand, Night and Lagoon change the paper.
