Dome of Light
About the design
You look up into a dome painted in watercolour: blue, peach and ochre clouds gather at its edges, a column of light falls from the oculus, and the oculus is your photo, set in a gilded ring of beads. The opening plays by itself: the clouds part, the angels rise from behind them, the names write themselves by hand, letter by letter. The countdown sits in the coffers of a gilded frieze, each moment under an arcade that fills with light, the album is a gallery of frescoes drying before your eyes. Palettes: dawn, pearl and gold.

Which events it suits
It is made for a wedding with a christening, where the dome, the light and the angels speak of the couple and the child alike, and it suits a church wedding or a christening with a single name in the oculus just as well. For a christening the countdown reads „until the christening” and the day becomes „The christening day”; dawn warms it, pearl makes it quieter.
