Gold Record
About the design
The night version: the invitation is a single's cover, the photo in a gold halftone on black, the age and the title in gold foil and a pink sticker, and out of it slides a gold record that spins. The turntable's arm comes down on the record while the invitation's music plays. The countdown is the track list on the back of the sleeve, the letter sits on the inner sleeve, the album is a crate of records, and a “yes” brings a backstage pass. As it opens, the record slides out by itself and confetti fly.

Milestone celebration · Coming of Age
Which events it suits
It is made for an eighteenth birthday, an evening party at a club, where the age is the years' award, a gold record. For any other birthday the age changes in the invitation's texts, thirty or forty, and the burgundy and night-blue palettes suit the same record to an evening of jazz, friends and favourite songs.
