Kaleidoscope
About the design
On white paper, the group photo enters a kaleidoscope of eight mirrored slices, turning slowly as its pattern changes; a guest can turn it with a finger. The age stands over it in negative, the source photo sits in a small lens, and a ring with the name, the age and Party turns the other way. As it opens, the scattered slices settle, the pattern sharpens, confetti burst from the tube and the kaleidoscope comes down into the scene. The countdown sits in lenses; in the album, colour lights on the middle photo. Night and Lavender change the paper.

Milestone celebration · Coming of Age
Which events it suits
It is drawn for a coming of age, a party with friends where a big 18 stands over the group's photo. It suits a birthday too: the age becomes 30, 40 or 50, written by the organizer in the invitation's texts, and the kaleidoscope stays the same. One name in the scene, and without a photo the hatching itself becomes a kaleidoscope's pattern.
