About the design

A projector beam cuts across the frame, a flare breaks off it, dust drifts through the light, and a fine film grain lies over everything. A credit line sits under the names — A LOVE STORY, an initials seal, CHAPTER 01. A black rail then scrolls the names and the date under NOW SHOWING, and the countdown is written as a timecode, with gold colons between the units. Ceremonies and reception become acts numbered I, II and III, resolving into the monogram. Italiana over Plus Jakarta Sans; ivory, champagne, gold.

Which events it suits

Three acts need three timed moments: the civil ceremony, the church ceremony and the reception. Only a wedding has all three, which is why no other event type appears in the list. It looks best in a large room in the evening, with warm lighting and editorial photography, where a premiere poster has something worth announcing.
