About the design
The photograph does not sit in a rectangle: you see it through a watercolour hole in white paper, its edge wet with violet and touched with gold leaf. On opening a drop falls into the lilac ring, the blot blooms to its edges and the photograph appears where it spread, then the handwritten names. Further down the page paints itself as you scroll: titles on lilac strokes, the countdown's digits in drops, the day along a thread of colour, the album as a palette of stepped blots. Palettes: ink, peony and teal.

Which events it suits
It is made for weddings, where the couple's photographs become painted blots, and for anniversaries, with its question „Shall we paint the day together?”. For a wedding with a christening each family photograph sits in its own blot like a painted album, and for a christening one name under the child's photo and the teal or peony palette give the gentle page a family day suits.
