Garden Gates
About the design
On ivory paper, two tall gates traced in gold filigree swing open by themselves and petals drift through. Behind them your photo stands in an arched window, under an arch of white roses, hydrangeas, orchids and gold leaf that grows from the lower left over the vault. The names are written in Pinyon Script, the labels engraved in Forum, the text set in Cormorant Garamond. The day grows on a gold stem whose buds open, the album is a row of arched windows, and a yes unfolds a place card with the guest's name.

Which events it suits
It is drawn for a wedding under the arch, where the gates and the countdown to the vows tell the story. For a birthday the same garden opens for a single name, its words in the first person. For a wedding with a christening the family photo stands under the arch and three names sit naturally in the scene. Without a photo, your initials in calligraphy take its place.
