Gilded Ferns
About the design
In the top corner sits a bouquet of ferns, eucalyptus and white garden roses, painted in watercolour on the guest's own phone, with a spray of gold dust; on the left, a sprig of tiny blossoms. On opening the ferns unfurl from their fiddleheads, the roses bloom from the heart, the gold falls in three passes and a gold frame is drawn round the photograph. In the programme a long fern unfurls as you read and lights each moment. Cormorant Garamond and EB Garamond set every line; the palettes bring blush, sage, silver or powder blue.

Which events it suits
It is made for weddings and civil ceremonies, where white paper and fine gold sit well beside a short programme or a long one. For an anniversary the silver palette suits a silver wedding, for a wedding with a christening the family photograph settles into the gold frame, and for a christening the blush or powder blue palettes give a gentle page with one name.
