Gold Leaf
About the design
The page is a dusty mauve evening with a fine paper grain. The gold leaf is painted once, in three layers, along the top and down the right edge; in the opening it settles from above, a few large flakes fall turning onto their places, and the names, in Forum capitals, gather from wide tracking. The wide photo develops under a passing light, and the date and the town stand either side of a fine hairline. Navy, Emerald and Graphite change the evening.

Which events it suits
It is made for an evening wedding: the programme has the hour on the left and a trail of gold between the moments, and every guest who says yes sees their name written in gold leaf. For an anniversary or a coming of age the same golden evening becomes a party: one name in the scene, a one-letter monogram and the texts in the first person.
