About the design
The photograph leads here, not the animation: the first second is a full-screen cover, the names in Cormorant Garamond over the image and the venue beneath them. Eighteen petals drift across the page in dusty rose, wine and sand. Two polaroid portraits follow, each captioned with a name, then the day unfolds on a vertical timeline alternating left and right around one thin rule. The text is Mulish, the only use of it in the catalogue, set on solid white panels rather than translucent ones. The accent is a deep wine, and the closing sinks into that same wine.
Which events it suits
Built for a wedding and for nothing else: the portrait pair needs two people, and the timeline wants three timed places — registry office, church, restaurant — which is a wedding's shape and nobody else's. Right for couples who already have one strong cover photograph and want it to carry the page. The wine also comes in blush and sage.
