About the design

Warm plaster, wood-and-brass frames, cream paper — over them Fraunces and Karla, with the chapters typed in Special Elite: “chapter one — our story”, “chapter three — yours”. The opening is a screening: photos play one at a time full-screen with light leaks, then fly onto the frames on the wall. The day's programme comes as cinema tickets stitched together by a terracotta thread that draws itself as you scroll, a heart at the knot. Film grain lies over the whole page. “Ink” is the second version: same wall, colder light.

Which events it suits

A wedding is the obvious case: the page runs in three chapters and the third belongs to the guest. The demo gallery runs from 2018 to the wedding day, the year printed under each frame, so you can see straight away how much ground it covers. At an anniversary the frame wall stays and the tickets shrink to one timed moment, with everything before it as the story.
