Ruby Velvet
About the design
On a phone the ruby velvet rises over the photo from below; on a desktop it is drawn upright, the photo on the left and the velvet from the right, its torn edge with two foil strokes running down it and the names on the velvet. As the guest scrolls, the paint keeps covering the photo, leftwards or upwards. The borders between velvet and ivory paper are clean, solid paint with long fibres and a glossy stroke the light follows. Cormorant, Montserrat and Pinyon Script; Emerald, Night and Plum change the velvet, the paper and the metal.

Which events it suits
It suits a wedding with a fine wide photo, which a desktop shows like a painting. For an anniversary or a coming of age a single portrait, slowly covered by velvet and rose gold, becomes the invitation to an elegant evening, with every line in the first person and each guest who says yes named on a stroke of foil.
