Silver Crown

About the design

At the top, a crown of engraved silver: an arch with two volutes and arms that run down to the page's edges, a gold-foil eucalyptus vine twined around it. As it opens, the pen engraves the arch, the vine grows leaf by leaf, the names rise in spaced capitals and the photo develops between two sprigs. Then a few gold leaves drift down and glint. The date and the place stand either side of a silver hairline, the countdown is set in foil, and the crown returns upside down at the end. Emerald, Night, Plum and Ivory change the page.

The invitation, screen by screen: the opening, the middle and the end.

Which events it suits

It is made for a fairy-tale wedding, the couple's names under the crown's arch and a eucalyptus wreath that grows around their initials when a guest says yes. For an anniversary the same crown celebrates a long road together, and for an 18th birthday it frames a single name, like a princess's or a prince's. Without photos, a wreath with the initials holds their place.
