Summer Garland
About the design
Across the top of the page hangs a garland of peonies, roses and anemones painted in watercolour, with willow and eucalyptus leaves, pendants of buds and a long branch down each side. On opening the vines draw, the leaves unfurl and the flowers bloom from the middle outwards, then the branches sway and a few petals drift down. The names stand in Cormorant capitals in olive ink, the photograph under a slim arch, and the garland is mirrored at the end. Palettes: peach, lavender or a white garden.

Which events it suits
It is made for a summer wedding and a civil ceremony, where the airy page sits well beside a short programme. For a wedding with a christening the pastel flowers and the family photograph under the arch make a gentle page, and for a couple's anniversary the garland tells just as well the story of a lovely day in the garden.
