The Carrier Dove
About the design
The first screen is a postcard with airmail stripes round its edge, between two sprays of watercolour roses. The invitation comes down from the sky, swinging on two ribbons held by two white doves; as it settles the doves let the ribbons go, two bows stay, and the postmark comes down on your photo, made into a stamp. Further down, the days left are four stamps, the letter is signed and sealed with wax, the day is an itinerary stamped hour by hour, and at the end a dove lands on the sealed envelope.

Which events it suits
It is made for a wedding with an old-fashioned air, sent like a love letter. It suits a civil ceremony and a wedding anniversary just as well, where the love post keeps its meaning. Airmail blue, Sepia and Dusty rose change the stripes, the wax and the flowers, and without a photo the large stamp carries an engraved dove.
