About the design
The first page is an arched window holding your photo, framed by big monstera, banana and palm leaves painted in gouache. As it opens the leaves stand folded over the window like a curtain and part, while the hibiscus, plumeria and jasmine open petal by petal. The names are stacked in a large italic with a coral “&”. The countdown sits in four plumeria flowers, the day is a vine with a hibiscus on every moment, and at the end the leaves close round your initials.
