About the design
A christening is the sacrament of water, so this design takes the metaphor literally and puts the entire page below the surface. Waves are seen from underneath, light comes down in shafts, shoals cross between the cards, a gentle whale glides through the deep and seagrass sways along the bottom, while the page darkens toward the closing the way water does with depth. Cards are pockets of air, the round Comfortaa name catches a coral glint, Poppins carries the text, and the countdown is four bubbles.
Which events it suits
At a christening the water is not decoration but the meaning of the day, so the lagoon says something about the service and not only about the meal afterwards. For a sea-themed birthday the same page carries the whole party, at home or at a restaurant, with a little fish marking the table. The lagoon and sunbeam variants change the light, never the water.
