About the design
Scrolling launches the balloon: it hovers over the name at first sight and has left the frame by mid-page, and on browsers without scroll timelines it keeps its gentle bob. Nine paper-cut clouds drift underneath, on a sky fading from blue into warm cream; sunny and meadow touch only the accent, never the sky. Baloo 2 rounds off the headings while Quicksand keeps the running text light. Sections are near-opaque cloud cards, the date rides the ribbon tied to the basket, and the countdown is a row of slightly tilted boarding-pass tiles counting sleeps.
Which events it suits
For a christening the balloon reads as the journey just starting, and the cloud cards carry the church service, the godparents and the restaurant. A birthday narrows the page to one party, and the balloon simply becomes its theme, with nothing else changing. The balloon on the enter screen and the quiet waltz open it the same way for a two-year-old and for grandparents.
