The Herbarium
About the design
Every section is a herbarium plate on linen, numbered as in a collection. On the first, your photo is pressed like a specimen, held by strips of linen beside a fern and a sprig of eucalyptus. As it opens, a sheet of parchment lifts off the plate, the label is typed line by line, then the date stamp comes down on it. Further down come a scale bar for the days left, the letter held by a paper clip, record cards for the day and the album's exsiccata. Terracotta and Blue ink change the ink.

Which events it suits
It is made for a civil ceremony: a registration card that a yes stamps Registered, as at the registry office. It suits a wedding with a short day just as well, and an anniversary, where the plates become the collection of your years. Without a photo a pressed rosebud takes the specimen's place, and long words fit on the cards without spoiling the plate.
