Needle and Thread
About the design
On natural linen a needle sews the reference's heart stitch by stitch and stays stuck in the cloth, the names are struck on a typewriter, and the photograph sits in a wooden embroidery hoop with a brass screw, beside a spool and two pins. Below come the date and the place split by a running stitch, the countdown cross-stitched on aida, buttons sewn beside each hour, two hoops hanging by threads and the album pegged on a twine. The palettes change the cloth and the thread: navy, sage with terracotta or blush.

Which events it suits
It suits a wedding with a christening and a christening best: the cross-stitch, the wooden buttons and the hoops speak of family and of things made by hand for a child, above all in the blush palette. For a wedding it is the reference itself, embroidered, and for an anniversary a sewn heart and a monogram in a hoop suit a couple with many years together.
