Engraved Peonies
About the design
The page is white paper with a fine grain, and in its top corner sits a bouquet of peonies, roses, buds and leaves engraved with a thin line and hatching, pressed in gold foil. At the opening a chisel engraves it from the corner inward, each flower opening from its heart, then a light crosses the foil. The names are set in spaced Cormorant Garamond capitals, the titles in Forum. The sprigs, the reply card's corners and the closing wreath engrave as you reach them. Ivory, Sage, Powder pink and Silver change the paper and the metal.

Which events it suits
It is made for a quiet, elegant wedding or civil ceremony, with your photograph on the first screen and the day in ruled rows, like a printed invitation. For an anniversary the gold or silver engraving speaks of the years together; for a christening or a wedding with a christening, the white flowers and the pink or silver palette lend it softness.
