Foil Edge
About the design
Grained ruby velvet, with a rose-gold foil edge laid on with a dry brush across its top and foot, torn and speckled. The names stand in spaced Cormorant capitals with an italic foil ampersand; the date, the place and the days left sit in small Montserrat capitals. As it opens the brush drags the edge in, the names rise, the photo is painted in and light passes over the foil. Every stroke under the titles and the hours is painted as you reach it. Emerald, Night, Plum and Onyx change the velvet and the metal.

Which events it suits
It is made for an elegant wedding, with your monogram at the end and a foil seal bearing your initials for every guest who says yes. For a civil wedding its sober layout and the day's hours on the left suit a short morning ceremony. For an anniversary the same velvet becomes a festive evening, one name in the scene and every line in the first person.
