Moon over the Dunes
About the design
The page is one sky, from charcoal at the top to warm desert earth at the foot, with the grain of good paper. The four-point stars are gold glitter, and the moon is the true crescent of your evening, worked out from the date. As it opens the stars light layer by layer, the moon rises and the names write themselves in thin, wide-spaced Jost; the text is EB Garamond, the greeting Cormorant italic. Now and then a star falls, and at the end the moon sets behind three gold-ridged dunes. Indigo, Terracotta and Amethyst change sky and gold.

Which events it suits
It is drawn for an evening wedding, with your night's moon in the sky and a star carrying the name of every guest who says yes. For a birthday or a coming of age the same night becomes a party under the stars: one name in the scene, first-person words and the moon of that evening. Photos have their places, yet the sky stays whole without them.
